Due 12 February 03
Take the text you wrote for Homework #3 and turn it into an attractive Web page. Make sure it can be viewed on the Internet with a unique URL. Email the URL to both the writing coach and the professor.
This is an opportunity for you to make use of the written feedback you received in class from your classmate(s).
This is also an opportunity for you to learn to make a Web site. Your finished product should contain some kind of styled text (a heading format, centering, etc.), at least one graphic, and at least one hyperlink. You are welcome to use any tools at your disposal, including HTML editors like FrontPage or DreamWeaver.
No matter what tools you use, I recommend that you learn the basic ideas of HTML by looking at source code and editing your work in a text editor like Notepad. That way, you can fix any mistakes that your software might make for you.
Here is a simple sample Web page. Please look at the source code for this document, because the source code is clean, and it shows you all the basic skills you need to know.
Here is a tutorial prepared by Mike Urbancic, and revised by Professor Reiley, to help you through the process of creating and publishing your Web page on the Internet.
